MoMMAs (Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Advocates) Voices (https://www.mommasvoices.org/) is the first-ever maternal health patient advocates program bringing together real patient and family voices, made up of dozens of maternal health organizations who represent all types of maternal health conditions, as well as cross-cutting topics like maternal mental health, racial equity, healthcare delivery, and patient-provider partnership. We sit at the center of maternal health improvements, connecting and training patients with lived experiences, providers, quality improvement leaders, researchers, and policymakers to move forward improvements in maternal care. We are a program of the Preeclampsia Foundation.
Your experience can make a difference and we are here to help you make it happen through THREE steps:
Get trained as a Certified Patient Family Partner and join our community at in-person and virtual training opportunities to share your lived lived experience effectively.
Be Matched with local, state, and national perinatal quality improvement initiatives working to improve healthcare for all moms and their babies.
Advocate on a local and national level for programs that support healthy moms and healthy babies.
