Legislative advocacy simply means educating others about preeclampsia and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and helping to influence government policy. We have successfully fought for several federal legislative efforts, and will continue to advance our policy priorities. Patient advocates play a huge role as we develop and advance our advocacy agenda. Your stories and experiences shape our policy priorities and your direct outreach to your elected officials fuels our progress. Below are several simple ways you can get involved with legislative advocacy. Download our Advocacy Tipsheet here and Fact Sheet for Policymakers here.
