The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation has awarded a $9,000 grant to the Preeclampsia Foundation for a research study titled Preeclampsia and Cardiovascular Disease: Family Studies to Discover Causation or Correlation.
Through its global grants program, the MDRT Foundation is committed to building stronger families and communities around the globe. This year, the MDRT Foundation will award over $1 million in MDRT member-endorsed grants to more than 200 charitable organizations worldwide.

Representing the MDRT Foundation, Peter C. Zuras, CLU, ChCFC, will present this grant to The Preeclampsia Foundation at the 2017 annual meeting of The Society for Reproductive Investigation in Orlando, Florida.
The Preeclampsia Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports women impacted by preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. The MDRT Foundation grant will help fund medical research that will lay the foundation for comprehensive studies that determine if preeclampsia causes cardiovascular disease (CVD) or serves as a warning sign to predisposed risk of CVD. Answers will influence clinical care for women.
